Prompts are crucial in TikTok effect design. These animations help introduce the effects and guide users on how to use them. I led the motion team in creating visually engaging prompts that effectively guided users, collaborating closely with product designers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for TikTok users.

​The user response was great. We have roughly 18% increase in publish rate and 7% increase in user engagement. These metrics are compared to the effects that launched without animated prompts. So this shows that having the new prompt system was a huge success!
